DetailsThis fun old-favorite design dates to 1938, and still enchants children like no other! Painted with bright, primary, nontoxic colors, the rings draw curious fingers like a magnet, especially when the appealing clacking sound they make is discovered. The ingenious rounded wooden base (a trademark design of the manufacturer) causes the cone to rock, spin, and topple over, spilling the rings, creating clacking great excitement, and keeping captivation constant. Made in the USA.
For ages 12 months and up.
In 1789, Cornelius Holgate established a woodworking shop outside Philadelphia. His first products were hearth brushes and feather duster handles. In 1929, the Holgate Company became a pioneer in researching and developing educational toys for children. Norman Rockwell's brother, Jarvis, served as chief toy designer through the mid 1960s, and when Mr. (Fred) Rogers was looking for a company to create his Neighborhood Trolley, he turned to Holgate. Holgate uses the finest American hardwoods to make their toys - each is carefully cut, sanded, and finished to exceed all toy safety standards set forth by the Consumer Product Safety Commission in the US.
